A photo of JFK's temporary grave, taken by my father shortly after the assassination.

  1. The Kennedy assassination is perhaps the first public event I can recall from my childhood, announced over the PA system of my elementary school. I believe this was the temporary arrangement at Arlington National Cemetery.

  2. Wow. This is very cool. I don't really remember it, as I wasn't even a year old, however, I do have a faint memory of my mother being very upset and crying....and I think it was this event. I will tell you something, though: Dallas has a very bad energy around the SE area of downtown. It's palpable. One reason I wasn't too keen on moving there.
