Friends who will be out East in early June should attend. Thomas Moran's house is a superb mid-Victorian house, under restoration by the pond in East Hampton, and his legacy is one of the bright points of the period. His wife, Mary Nimmo Moran, a fine artist in her own right, was in her time the only female member of Royal Society of Painter-Etchers.
