Le BHL flew into NY to appear in a cameo röle in 'Dreyfus in Rehearsal Again' with some remarks about the present sour state of things. I don't believe the United States has had a public intellectual, perhaps since Walter Lippmann. He appears markedly more frail since I saw him last in a U.N. meeting on Ukraine back in 2022.
