Well said, Jim. I am not too familiar with this piece, so I will critique by ear. The singer looked stunning in black, and her voice was celestial. I always love a choir, and the conductor, (of whose garb I approve) did a fabulous job with the choir and the musicians. I will offer one petty criticism: I was distracted by the fact that the singer's mouth kept veering up to her left. Minor point. Don't take it too hard, Jim. I bet already that bunches of doctors are competing at Rockefeller University to finish Steinman's work. It hits home with me, because I had cancer and am in remission. I really appreciate what he was trying to do. Anyway, he is at peace, he received his accolade, and he gained much notoriety. Not a bad way to go!
In memory of Dr. Ralph Steinman. RIP
