  1. Reo Hatfield was not a petty man. He saw that the tradgedy and loss of life at the Trade Center on 9/11 transcended his family's feud. It was high time to end the family squabble as a sign of a much greater need for peace. The Hatfield-McKoy fighting will always be a part of American history, but the timeliness of the truce will also go in the history books.
