Isabel Leonard plays with fire

  1. This is going to be an ignorant statement, but I will make it anyway. I did not get to "Cosi fan Tutte" which I would have enjoyed, but I really needed subtites for the Isabella Leonard piece. Furthermore, re: that piece, I think that it was every man's fantasy-two beautiful women, a blonde and a brunette, rubbing up against each other most of the time. Lastly, the blonde had embarrassingly filthy feet!

  2. I want to apologize to you all about my crude comments before. I spoke mainly out of the ignorance of not being able to speak German. I will, however, stick by my statement that the direction of this piece was definitely aimed towards heterosexual men. To sum, the singing was absolutely beautiful-heavenly, in fact, and the two cantors are beautiful in spite of their feet!

  3. Well, As a hetero man, I'll plead guilty, although I will promise you that they're here because they're really superb artists! Will volunteer to wash Ms. Person - filthy wench;) By the way, Leonard will be singing in this year's production of Don Giovanni...hopefully, she'll keep her shoes on!
